Digambar Jain Muni / saints have given up all possessions , belongings,attachments, relations and even clothes, footwear, comforts, bed etc. . All seasons they live without clothes, mattresses, coverings etc.. They walk bear foot on all kind of roads, and all on kind of seasons. They eat only once and that too standing and without using any utensils. While world is mad after having more and more the Jain Monks do not have any bank accounts, any possessions etc. And to give Ahar ( serve food) to such Tyagi is a life time opportunity , a great privilege. Jain followers and even others take it is a great privilege to give Ahar to Jain Sadhus/ Muni.
Two young but dynamic , very good orator, very enlightened Muni's have come to Khar, Mumbai. They are Respected Amoghkirtiji and Amarkirtiji Maharaj. The Jain Samaj of of Mumbai are enjoying this chomasa/ Chaturmas as big festivals. But for giving Ahar yatris are coming from far and wide and there are different groups giving Ahar in competition to others. But 16th Sep. 2012 was a very different day. Where very very small kids cooked and prepared and served food / Ahar for these Hon'ble Muni Maharaj ( ofcourse with the help of two / three seniors like Mrs Jayshree Shah ,Dr Aksha Tholiya and others.
